The Texas Sojourners RV Club  had their final rally at Jamaica Beach in Galveston, TX in November 2017 with 30 rigs attending.

Each November in the town or area in which we are camping, the club highlights a project to make a substantial contribution in the name of Texas Sojourners,. 

The Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Galveston. TX, was identified as the recipient for 2017.  The Director of Donor Development, Lisa L. Court, MBA, CFRE, received the donation of $500.00 on       behalf of the hospital.   

Ms. Court attended and used the opportunity to familiarize the club of the life changing pediatric care which provides acute, reconstructive and rehabilitative care.

 The hospital was opened in 1966. Since then, the survival rate of children with burns over more than  50% of their body surface has doubled.

This gift will also help to transform and provide life changing pediatric care to children recovering from burn injuries and soft tissue conditions.
